Are you an experienced sales professional in the Independent Training Provider (ITP) and apprenticeships sector? Interested in leading a new business initiative at a market-leading EdTech company? This might be the role for you!
The company is a market-leading software company that delivers a learner-centred platform to over 100 Further Education Colleges. They have built a rare advantage: trusted access to 200,000+ Post-16 learners through compliance-grade systems that colleges rely on daily.
They’re launching a new initiative – a new division designed to sit in the gap between education and what comes next: Employment, Apprenticeships, and Higher Education. This is not a job board for young people. It’s a managed engagement and progression engine that uses its position in colleges to create real outcomes for learners and real value for employers, training providers, and universities.
For Independent Training Providers, filling cohorts, attracting the right learners and connecting them to meaningful employer opportunities is increasingly difficult – and critical. This new initiative is designed to address those challenges through targeted engagement, structured experiences, and a measurable learner pipeline.
You will be leading the new division’s subscription sales to Independent Training Providers, leveraging the company’s trusted footprint across Post-16 institutions and 200,000+ learners to provide young people with highly targeted Apprenticeship opportunities.
The job will focus on building long-term partnerships with ITPs, who will use their subscriptions to promote their Apprenticeship vacancies to the right young person, at the right time, and in the right way. This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role. You’ll be responsible for building a pipeline from the ground up – from outbound prospecting through to contract signing.
You will act as a visible figure within the ITP and apprenticeships sector — building your own reputation alongside the product's growth through events, content, and direct engagement with senior stakeholders. Although this is a new division of the business, it has a strong market presence and a strong reputation with senior leaders and sector organisations, built over 10 successful years of trading.
This is a high-impact role – you’ll be making a genuine difference to the lives of thousands of young people, while operating with a high level of autonomy and earning potential (OTE £100k+). With strong market demand, a clearly defined target audience, and a product built on an existing, highly credible platform, this role offers genuine earning potential for the right person.
This is a chance to bring a new proposition to market with a clear problem-solution fit, supported by an established brand and existing traction. You won’t just be selling a product – you’ll be shaping how it’s positioned, adopted and scaled across the ITP sector.
Why this role is different:
- You’re not selling to a cold market – you’re leveraging access to 200,000+ engaged learners.
- You’re not pushing a job board – you’re offering a structured pipeline solution tied to real outcomes.
- You’re not joining a startup from scratch – you’re building a new division within an established, trusted business.
- You’ll be visible in the sector – building your own profile, not just working behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively build and manage a pipeline of ITPs from the ground up, who will purchase subscriptions to the new service.
- Work closely with ITP stakeholders to understand cohort requirements, funding priorities and learner recruitment challenges.
- Own the full sales process.
