Position Summary

The Compliance Specialist provides confidential, technical, and professional level support to the CT State organizational compliance framework in achieving compliance efficiencies in alignment with legal standards and internal policies, assists with identifying and addressing institutional risks, and establishing the highest ethical standards of conduct in accordance with the state’s Code of Ethics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the CT State Data Privacy and Compliance Manager, the Compliance Specialist is responsible for effective performance in these essential duties:

  • Monitors and ensures compliance with state regulatory requirements and CSCU policies.
  • Conducts detailed compliance audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
