Analyst/Sr Analyst (HEOR) Health Economic Modelling and Analysis We welcome applications for the position of Analyst or Senior Analyst, Health Economic Modeling and Analysis with ConnectHEOR . It’s a fantastic moment to join our rapidly expanding team! Location: This position is open to candidates situated in the United Kingdom (UK), Canada or India . We are open to the possibility of working from home or fully remote . Role: Serve as the lead or key accountable team member to conduct health economic modeling studies (such as cost-effectiveness, cost-consequence and budget impact models) Health economic model development from scratch including background research, model conceptualization, inputs collection and implementation Health economic model adaptations to different markets for HTA submissions and publications Work closely with internal team and external stakeholders to ensure high quality of deliverables Support growth of the business through the development of strong client relationships Business development (including proposal writing) and project budget management Publish research-work at conferences and submission to scientific journals Develop best practices guidelines for relevant areas Line management or training of junior staff Minimum Requirements: Fresher (Analyst level) or 3 years (Sr Analyst) of hands-on health economic modeling experience within HEOR consultancy or pharmaceutical industry Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MSc, MTech, MA) in quantitative fields such as Health Economics/ Economics, Statistics, Operational Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Biostatistics or related fields Experience in hands-on model development from scratch including background research, model conceptualization, model implementation and presentation of model findings in different disease areas Experience of development of budget impact models and early and late-stage cost effectiveness models Experience of model adaptations for different markets to support HTA submissions Strong understanding of different model structures including decision tree, Markov model, partitioned survival model and multi-state model Strong knowledge of various economic evaluation techniques in different settings Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills, including VBA Excellent technical writing and presentation skills Significant experience of presenting model findings to internal and external audiences Strong quantitative aptitude, and knowledge of linear algebra, regression analysis and other statistical methods Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Knowledge of survival analysis in oncology modeling Knowledge of conducting systematic and targeted literature reviews Experience of working in cross-functional teams Experience of using outputs from related projects such as evidence synthesis (NMA) and real-world evidence into modeling studies Experience of dissemination of research findings, e.g. through publications or reports Experience of both working in a team and leading a team Excellent time management, project management and communication skills Proactive approach to work, problem-solving aptitude and flexible to learn and adapt Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development process and HTA or reimbursement processes Experience working in R/ Python or other statistical softwares Experience of hands-on conducting survival analysis Experience of conducting real world data analysis Experience of development of discrete event simulation models, infectious disease models, healthcare capacity models and cost-consequence models Experience of writing health economics section of market access and HTA submissions’ documents Business development and marketing experience Experience of conducting meta analysis and network-meta analyses Track record of research publications in conferences and peer-reviewed journals Understanding the market access environment and challenges globally Primary research or conducting workshop with key opinion leaders (KOLs) We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, with clear opportunities for growth and career progression.
