Connected Voice is looking for a Partnership Officer who shares our commitment to equality and social justice.

You will be a key member of our Support and Development team, strengthening representation, voice, and influence for Gateshead’s VCSE sector. The role focuses on strengthening Gateshead’s VCSE sector by bringing organisations together to collaborate, build new partnerships and amplify their collective influence. You will help ensure smaller groups and marginalised communities are represented in local decision‑making, develop and facilitate peer support networks, and improve communication between the sector and key local authority and NHS boards. You will also gather and analyse sector insights to demonstrate collective impact and support the case for increased investment.

We are looking for a people person with the ability to motivate others and foster good working relationships. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of the VCSE sector. You will be able to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally. You will be enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and well‑organised, able to arrange and facilitate meetings, and confident in representing and amplifying voices across the VCSE sector. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and grow your professional network.
