US Active, a charity dedicated to supporting young people’s mental health through physical activity, is seeking a new Fundraising Committee Chair. This voluntary role offers the opportunity to lead our fundraising efforts and ensure vital financial support for our life-changing work.

About The Role

  • Lead and oversee the planning, organisation, and execution of fundraising events.
  • Build relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and supporters to maximise event success.
  • Ensure all events align with US Active’s mission and raise essential funds to support our work.
  • Work with the fundraising committee to develop creative fundraising activities that engage the community and wider stakeholders.
  • Track the progress of fundraising events, ensuring targets are met and reporting back to the Board.

Who We Need

  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
  • Fundraising Event Experience: Proven track record in planning and executing successful fundraising events.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting young people and their mental health.
  • Time Commitment: Approx. 4-5 days per month, including attending meetings and fundraising events.
