The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced Employability Coach to join our Volunteering & Projects Team. The post holder will manage a small caseload of adults attending our Day Service who want to progress into paid part-time employment, self-employment or individual volunteering placements.
The Volunteering & Projects Team work across all four of Journey's sites which are in Blyth, Hexham, Newcastle and Bishop Auckland, as well as in the community with relevant partnerships.
Journey Enterprises is one of the region's leading intellectual disability charities. We support conditions from birth which impact cognitive development including Down's Syndrome, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, Smith Magenis syndrome and Fragile X syndrome. We provide services to support our clients to develop work and independent living skills, and to manage their health and wellbeing.
The charity is commissioned by six local authorities and the NHS, and also provides a diversity of grant-aided programmes enriching the opportunities, resources and specialist staffing we can offer clients.
