The Twisting Ducks Theatre Company is seeking a part-time DJ Facilitator to support people with a learning disability and autistic people in developing their DJ skills, confidence and creativity. This role is ideal for someone passionate about music, inclusion and person-centred practice who wants to make a meaningful impact through weekly sessions and live performance opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging weekly DJ sessions.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages creativity, confidence and active participation.
- Support participants in identifying goals, tracking progress and preparing for FRESH club-night performances.
- Manage group dynamics and facilitate inclusive participation.
- Prepare resources, complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Experience in DJing or music facilitation, or a strong desire to share DJ skills with others.
- Confidence leading groups and managing group dynamics.
- Strong organisational skills, including session planning, resource preparation and record keeping.
- Ability to meet individual needs and provide tailored support.
