Reporting to: UK Managing Director
Our client is a leading UK provider of industrial equipment and services, and part of a larger international group. They are looking for a Regional General Manager to take full ownership of a branch operation of around 16 employees across operations, sales, service and workshop functions.
You will need to balance the commercial (budgets, forecasting, margin, growth) with the operational (safety, compliance, delivery, quality) and the people side (coaching, accountability, conflict resolution).
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and managing the branch with full profit and loss responsibility
- Developing and executing strategic and operational plans to grow the business
- Managing budgets, resource allocation and financial performance against KPIs
- Building a culture of safety, accountability and customer focus
- Recruiting, developing and managing your team, including performance and conflict resolution
- Overseeing project costing, margin control and on-time delivery
- Acting as site lead for health, safety and environmental compliance (LOLER, PUWER, HSE)
