JIB Approved Electrician needed. This role works with a small but long-standing company based in Sheffield, who are looking to add an Approved Electrician to the team. Thanks to an increase in customer demand, the business is growing.

Working with some very interesting customers, this role will be almost exclusively installations. Their niche is installing Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Automatic Switchgear (ATS) in the construction phase of Data Centres.

They are looking for senior electricians who have the ability to supervise a small team and lead activities on site. For this reason, you must hold a Test and Inspection qualification (2391) in order to sign off the work.

What really makes this opportunity is the type of company my client are. Done your contracted hours by Thursday lunch? Have Friday off. Staying away from home? You will always have your own room, never sharing. Want to work overtime? If the client site is open, then go for it.

Requirements

  • JIB approved level electrician
  • Holds Test and Inspection (2391)
  • Have a good history working on Commercial installation projects

Nice to have

  • Experience with Large UPS or Back up power supply systems
  • SSSTS
