About the Role:
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of mechanical project management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven working experience in project management, with a mechanical bias
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Project Management Professional (PRINCE2 or APM) certification is a plus
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
