The Role
- We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge.
- You will be responsible for managing your nursery setting including:
- Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS.
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children.
- Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff.
- Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings.
- Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner.
- Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters.
- Operational planning.
- Budgetary management and reporting.
- Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Contributing to the reputation of our clients Nursery Group.

What you will bring
- Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
- NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development.
- Leadership acumen.
- Excellent staff management skills.
- Experience in dealing with external organisations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
- Self‑motivation, innovation and a positive outlook.
- Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills.
- Lots of energy; and above all, a passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children.
An Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be carried out prior to employment.
