Location: Richmond. Nursery: 70 placement. Hours: 40 hours per week. Salary: £45000-£55000 P/A.

The Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge.
  • You will be responsible for managing your nursery setting including:
  • Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS.
  • Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children.
  • Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff.
  • Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings.
  • Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner.
  • Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters.
  • Operational planning.
  • Budgetary management and reporting.
  • Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Contributing to the reputation of our clients Nursery Group.

What you will bring

  • Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
  • NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development.
  • Leadership acumen.
  • Excellent staff management skills.
  • Experience in dealing with external organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
  • Self‑motivation, innovation and a positive outlook.
  • Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills.
  • Lots of energy; and above all, a passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children.

An Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be carried out prior to employment.
