The Role
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge. You will be responsible for assisting the Manager in the day to day running of a new state of the art nursery:
- Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS;
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children;
- Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff;
- Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings;
- Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner;
- Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters;
- Operational planning;
- Budgetary management and reporting;
- Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues;
- Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed;
- Contributing to the reputation of our clients Nursery Group.

What you will bring
- Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager;
- NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS;
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development;
- Leadership acumen;
- Excellent staff management skills;
- Experience in dealing with external organisations;
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication;
- Self-motivation, innovation and a positive outlook;
- Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills;
- Lots of energy; and above all, A passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children.
An Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be carried out prior to employment.
