This role is ideal for a marketing generalist who enjoys variety and thrives in a delivery-focused environment.
This is a pivotal conduit role, bridging internal business lines and specialist execution teams (Events, Content, and Project), ensuring marketing activity is aligned, well-coordinated, and delivered to a high standard. As the primary driver of operational excellence, you will own the full lifecycle of marketing initiatives, from strategic planning through to execution and optimisation. You are not only a marketer, but a delivery lead who ensures campaigns are executed on time, within budget, and with measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing strategy & planning
- Develop and own marketing plans aligned with project objectives and wider business and growth goals
- Work closely with project owners to understand roadmaps and translate project impact into clear, compelling messaging across the marketing mix (e.g. email, video, podcast, digital, events)
- Represent the voice of the customer, ensuring communications reflect real market needs and audience insight
- Build content plans and manage content production across channels and audiences, ensuring consistency with overall marketing and communications strategy
- Plan integrated campaigns across relevant channels (content, email, digital, product marketing, events)
- Manage timelines, budgets, and dependencies to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Hands-on marketing execution
- Personally execute marketing activity, including:
- Campaign setup and delivery
- Messaging and content development (briefing, reviewing, editing)
- Channel management (email, website, landing pages, paid activity where applicable)
- Work closely with design, content teams, and external agencies to deliver high-quality outputs
- Define success metrics for campaigns and initiatives, track performance, and report on results
- Optimise campaigns and plans based on data, insight, and feedback
Required Competencies
- Proven experience in a hands-on marketing role with end-to-end campaign ownership
- Strong ability to develop and execute practical, results-focused marketing plans
- Demonstrated experience working across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Data-informed mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Benefits
- 9 day fortnight for everyone, every other Friday.
- 23.5 holiday entitlement for everyone, with pro-rata calculations for part-time employees, along with a Christmas shutdown period for additional days off.
- Competitive pension, up to 10% company contribution to help you save for your future.
- Two paid days of volunteering leave per year (pro-rata for part-time employees) to support charitable activities.
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) providing 24/7 confidential work/life support services to you and your immediate family members.
- Cycle to Work Scheme encouraging a healthy and sustainable commute.
- Cash Health Plan, offering reimbursement for a wide range of essential and everyday healthcare expenses, promoting your well-being.
- Payroll Giving scheme, allowing regular charitable contributions from pre-tax income, maximizing the impact of your donations.
- Discounts and offers from a wide variety of retailers, enhancing your purchasing power and providing savings opportunities.
- Mortgage Advice benefit, delivered in partnership with Charles Cameron & Associates – provides employees with free, expert mortgage advice and end-to-end mortgage support from the application process through to completion.
