The role: Support and drive Business Unit Operations activities to ensure excellence in the day to day running of the Business Unit. Work on priority areas as set by the team to coordinate the business activities of the business unit as a whole. Help to ensure that the Business Unit functions well. Use change management approaches to influence others to ensure the success of Business Units. Champion and promote standard frameworks, supporting updating, improving and keeping them current as needed. Help to implement and drive people's compliance for standard ways of working, process management, use of systems. Liaise with colleagues in Strategy and Portfolio and Corporate Services to ensure the Business Unit is well connected. Support the development of bids and proposals. Ensure CRM system is updated with stakeholder contact and any other account information. Support scoping and delivery of streams of work. Support the implementation of effective project management processes, that promotes innovative and professional delivery focus across project teams. Collaborate effectively across the work streams/project teams and other Units. Support buy-in across a range of stakeholders through professional and technical expertise. Accountable for timely and high-quality actions/tasks and updates. Ensure an ethos of equity, inclusivity and diversity underpin your work activity, contribute to inclusive innovation across all Catapult activities. You may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties to support the Catapult in achieving its strategic outcomes and ensure effective business operations.
Requirements: Working knowledge of operational management in a project-based environment, including project management methodologies. Working knowledge of project budgets. Demonstrable experience of working with colleagues to build and deliver plans. Demonstrable experience of working with data and reporting tools and a high attention to detail. Demonstrable experience in supporting and delivering business change. Developing as a confident influencer and communicator with the ability to adapt style and message for a variety of different audiences. Experience of managing cross department relationships. Focused on achieving impact for the organisation. Insight and commitment to driving up organisation compliance to standards, frameworks and shared system/tool use. Demonstrating professionalism, resilience and self-awareness.
