A well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer is looking for a Senior Microbiologist to join its Analytical Services team. This is a hands-on role supporting the testing, release, and validation of sterile and non-sterile medicines within a GMP environment, offering a meaningful role in safeguarding product quality and patient safety, a stable quality-focussed setting.
- Perform microbiological testing of sterile and non-sterile products (in-process and finished)
- Sterility testing, bioburden, endotoxin, and specified organism testing
- Environmental and facility monitoring of production areas
- Prepare and review SOPs and laboratory documentation
- Coordinate testing schedules and cross-functional activities
- Deputise for the Microbiology Team Leader when required
Typically, you will have several years’ experience in pharmaceutical microbiology and a meticulous approach to quality and compliance.
