An exciting opportunity is currently available for a 12 month contract as a Revenues Manager within the Revenues & Debt Service of the Resources Directorate. Become part of a service which assists residents manage their council tax bills and support those who find themselves in financial difficulties.
As Revenues Manager you will be responsible for the management of the council tax collection and/or recovery service. This is a demanding role which will include assisting with the management of staff while working closely with finance and system colleagues along with external stakeholders and enforcement agencies to ensure council tax is collected with appropriate enforcement action taken where required.
Ideal candidate
- Have substantial management experience in the collection and recovery of council tax.
- Be able to fulfil the role with little training, therefore experience of this role or similar is essential.
- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Be able to work flexibly across all aspects of Council Tax administration.
