The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This job is based at the Hospital Team, Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Acre Street, Lindley, Huddersfield, HD3 3EA but you may be required to work at other locations as and when required.

Looking to appoint as a Level 2 or Level 3 Social Worker. The contract will be a 5 over 7 day contract as weekend working will be required for approximately 1 in 7 weekends. You will receive a 1.81% enhancement of your pay to cover weekends and Bank Holiday working.

You will be part of a busy team which works closely with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate timely and safe discharges from hospital.

The work is varied and challenging, but the role is key to ensure people achieve their outcomes.

You will be working with adults and carers to deliver Self-Directed support and Self-Assessment as well as safeguarding, adopting a positive approach to risk.

There will be a strong focus upon your own personal professional development to enhance your skills and practice. Our aim is to develop confident and competent practitioners, thereby supporting better outcomes for people we work with and equipping you with real and transferable skills for the future.

Travel is an essential part of this job and therefore it would be extremely difficult for you to do your job effectively if you did not use a car for all or most of the time. It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence, and it is expected that you will either use a council vehicle or your own car. (Exceptions may be made for disabled applicants).
