Seascape Primary School is looking to recruit a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as School Cleaner. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school, including general cleaning of classrooms, toilets and communal areas, emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping floors, and ensuring equipment is used and stored safely.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness of classrooms, toilets and communal areas.
- Emptying bins, vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Ensuring equipment is used and stored safely.
- Reporting any damage or maintenance issues.
- Assisting with whole school cleans during closure periods.
- Keeping cleaning areas tidy and presenting a positive role model to pupils.
- Following additional duties assigned by the Headteacher or Caretaker.
Requirements & Skills
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; will need to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure if successful.
