The City of Doncaster Council and its Economic Development team, Business Doncaster, are passionate about showcasing our vibrant tourism offer and promoting Doncaster as a fantastic place to visit and enjoy quality leisure time. We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic digital communicator to join our team.

The postholder should be confident using social media and know how to produce dynamic, engaging content that captures attention and drives meaningful interaction. In this role, the postholder will proactively identify and respond to emerging trends across social platforms, create compelling social media content tailored to a targeted audience, and manage and maintain social media accounts with professionalism and creativity.

The postholder will also be responsible for editing and maintaining the Visit Doncaster website, working flexibly and responsively to meet the needs of the service. It’s essential the postholder understands the value of digital channels in shaping public perception and delivering key messages, and who can build and maintain positive relationships while confidently representing the council in a positive and professional manner at all times.
