You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of Engineer - Highway Asset Maintenance. An exciting opportunity to make a real impact on our roads and communities.

This role sits with the Highway Asset Maintenance team, a small, committed and technically skilled group responsible for commissioning and managing the council’s capital highway maintenance programmes. As part of the team, you will work closely with and directly support the lead Senior Engineer, applying robust highway asset management principles to plan, develop and deliver effective maintenance programmes. This includes the design and implementation of a range of preventative surface treatments, complemented by more traditional structural resurfacing methods, to ensure the long‑term performance, durability and value of the highway network.
