We turn "regular" load carriers into smart, trackable assets — so customers get real-time supply chain insight (location, condition, temperature, shock events… the whole "where the heck is my stuff?" package). As our UK & Ireland Technical Program Manager, you'll own end-to-end delivery and scaling of complex customer programmes across the region. You bring order to IoT chaos without slowing anyone down: making sure hardware, firmware, connectivity, cloud and integrations actually play nice in the real world. You'll run governance and coordination, stay close to the technical details (without having to write the code), and keep commercial promises grounded in reality. And while you're doing that, you'll represent our HQ in 's-Hertogenbosch and work with the Commercial Director to grow our UK footprint — because growth is fun, but delivering it without fires is the real flex.
You're basically a driven delivery "conductor" with a sharp eye for detail: curious enough to really understand how technical choices ripple into scope, risk and planning, structured enough to make delivery predictable, and proactive enough to jump on dependencies and risks before they bite. You're comfortable in customer conversations at detail level (and you're not afraid to set boundaries), you influence without hierarchy, and you can switch effortlessly between big-picture programme oversight and nerdy deep dives into requirements and technical implications — while staying calm when things get spicy.
Key Responsibilities- Steer end-to-end technical delivery: solution → build → test → release → deployment → handover
- Safeguard coherence across integrations, architecture choices, configurations and rollouts
- Align dependencies across firmware, cloud, integrations and customer environments
- Drive release readiness: acceptance criteria, testing strategy, cut-over and rollback planning
- Lead go/no-go moments and ensure predictable, high-quality deployments
- Lead one or more complex programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Translate objectives into clear roadmaps, milestones and governance
- Manage scope, planning, budget, risks and quality — and course-correct early
- Ensure transparent reporting and decision-making (without bureaucracy)
- Align with customers on scope, approach, requirements and expectations (technical + functional)
- Translate customer needs into executable work packages for teams and partners
- Facilitate strong collaboration between Engineering, Product, Operations and Commercial
- Improve standards, templates and tooling for program management
- Increase predictability, quality and cross-team alignment across the organisation
You're the calm, sharp one in the chaos: you link technical choices to scope, risk and planning, listen properly, ask the "awkward but necessary" questions, and switch smoothly between engineers, customers and commercial. When things get messy, you make the call, bring structure across teams, spot problems before they explode, and you've got enough influence to keep scope from turning into a Christmas wish list — without needing a fancy title for it.
Requirements- 5+ years programme/project management experience in technology, industrial, logistics, or supply chain environments;
- Proven delivery across multiple simultaneous projects with measurable outcomes;
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels;
- Solid command of programme governance, risk management and structured reporting;
- Familiar with Agile, PRINCE2 or hybrid delivery methodologies;
- Experience operating in a senior, autonomous role within a regional or international context;
- Strong operational–commercial mindset, with experience in customer-facing programmes, business cases and value realisation.
- IoT, telematics, SaaS or asset-tracking solutions;
- Early-stage scale-up or launch into a new region;
- Working with 3PLs, automotive supply chain, reusable load carriers, retail or consumer goods networks;
Building a connected supply chain takes more than smart technology alone. It requires programmes that work in the real world across multiple customers, countries, partners and operational realities. That is exactly where Connected Load Carrier makes the difference. From our headquarters in Den Bosch, we help organisations in retail, FMCG, logistics and pooling gain real-time insight into their supply chains by turning everyday load carriers into connected, trackable assets. But the real value lies in how these solutions are successfully rolled out, adopted and scaled across complex supply chain environments.
Connected Load Carrier is powered by the broader Bright Technology Ventures ecosystem. This means our programmes are supported by in-house hardware development and manufacturing in Europe, a global connectivity backbone, and a strong shared operational foundation. Together, this enables us to deliver reliable, scalable and end-to-end programmes, even in high-volume, international supply chains.
As we grow internationally, coordinating multiple customer programmes, aligning commercial and operational stakeholders, and building scalable rollout structures become critical. This role plays a central part in that journey — ensuring that complex programmes are delivered predictably, customers realise value quickly, and our way of working scales with the market.
You will join a collaborative, down-to-earth organisation with short lines of communication and high ambitions. A place where structure, ownership and teamwork turn complex supply chain challenges into working, scalable solutions.
What we offer- Competitive salary £50,000 – £70,000 + bonus + benefits;
- A role where you can make a real impact on our growth, culture, and the way we build our solutions together;
- Lots of room for your own initiative and creativity;
- Flexible/hybrid working, healthcare coverage, pension.
- Career development and training budget.
