About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented Junior Data & Software Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who wants to work across data engineering, software development, and system reliability in a fast-moving environment where you will take ownership of your own projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Contribute to internal tools and platforms to improve reliability, data visibility, and operational workflows.
  • Uptime & Monitoring Systems: Manage development of features and integrations that enhance fault detection, alerting, and automated diagnostics across the estate.
  • Data Engineering & Analysis: Assist in building and maintaining pipelines to collect, clean, and analyze data from our network. Support insights into uptime, performance, and user behavior alongside our dedicated data team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Analytical mindset: You’re data-driven, curious, and love solving problems.
  • Good knowledge of modern practices in data and software engineering.
  • ML/AI curiosity and interest.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Azure cloud services and knowledge of OCPP/OCPI protocols.
