What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee contractors on all aspects of the installation process
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
- On‑site commissioning and remote support to manage communications with Connected Kerb operating systems
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, or safety hazards
- Provide professional assessments and advice for customers and provide 2nd line support
- Fault finding, diagnosis, and reporting
- Provide support on research and development testing activities
- Complete full and detailed site surveys
- Custom circuit design
- Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and non‑conformances are fully reported
- Out in the field being a critical part in ensuring excellent service for our customers
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- Qualified electrician, with experience in domestic and commercial 3‑phase work
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification, 18th Edition preferable
- A professional approach to all aspects of work
- Full valid driving licence
- Understanding of industry governance and compliance
- EV car charging experience (preferred)
- Comfortable with basic software set‑ups of our chargers and use of IT equipment – training will be given if required
- Experience with data cabling
Preferred Skills And Experience
- CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified preferred
