What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee contractors on all aspects of the installation process
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
  • On‑site commissioning and remote support to manage communications with Connected Kerb operating systems
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, or safety hazards
  • Provide professional assessments and advice for customers and provide 2nd line support
  • Fault finding, diagnosis, and reporting
  • Provide support on research and development testing activities
  • Complete full and detailed site surveys
  • Custom circuit design
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses and non‑conformances are fully reported
  • Out in the field being a critical part in ensuring excellent service for our customers

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Qualified electrician, with experience in domestic and commercial 3‑phase work
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification, 18th Edition preferable
  • A professional approach to all aspects of work
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Understanding of industry governance and compliance
  • EV car charging experience (preferred)
  • Comfortable with basic software set‑ups of our chargers and use of IT equipment – training will be given if required
  • Experience with data cabling

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified preferred
