We are now looking for an energetic field-based EV Electrician (Installation Manager) to join us and help scale the business in the North of England:
What You Will Be Doing- Overseeing contractors on all aspects of the installation process
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
- On-site commissioning and remote support to manage communications with CK's operating systems
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
- Provide professional assessments and advice for customers and provide 2nd line support
- Fault finding and diagnosis and reporting
- Provide support on research and development testing activities
- Complete full and detailed site surveys
- Custom circuit design
- Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
- Out in the field being a critical part in ensuring excellent service for our customers
- Qualified electrician, with experience in domestic and commercial 3 phase work
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification, 18th Edition preferable
- A professional approach to all aspects of work
- Full valid clean driving licence
- An understanding of industry governance and compliance
- EV Car charging experience (preferred)
- Comfortable with basic software setups of our chargers and use of IT equipment – training will be given if required.
- Experience with data cabling
- CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified preferred
