About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Monitoring Team Lead to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality, safe and compliant services.

In this role, you will support the monitoring, review and continuous improvement of quality standards across the organisation. Working closely with operational teams, managers and senior colleagues, you will help ensure our services meet internal standards, regulatory requirements and best practice.

You will be responsible for identifying areas of good practice, highlighting risks and areas of non-compliance, and supporting teams to implement meaningful improvements that enhance the experience and outcomes of the people we support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in healthcare, quality assurance, compliance or auditing who is passionate about maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.

As Quality Monitoring Team Lead, you will:

  • Carry out regular quality monitoring reviews and audits across Trusts.
  • Monitor compliance with organisational policies, procedures and RQIA regulatory requirements.
  • Review service documentation, records and quality evidence to ensure standards are consistently maintained.
  • Identify areas of good practice, risk, non-compliance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce clear, accurate and detailed quality monitoring reports, including findings and recommended actions.
  • Work collaboratively with managers and operational teams to develop and monitor improvement action plans.
  • Track agreed actions through to completion and escalate concerns where appropriate.
  • Analyse quality information to identify themes, trends and recurring areas of concern.
  • Support the monitoring of incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and other quality indicators.
  • Contribute to the development and review of quality assurance processes, policies and procedures.
  • Support services in preparing for internal and external inspections and audits.
  • Promote a positive culture of quality, learning, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Share best practice and lessons learned across services.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date quality records and reports.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 1 year's experience working within healthcare.
  • At least 6 months' experience in compliance or a similar regulated environment.
  • Experience of completing audits, quality reviews or compliance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement principles.
  • An understanding of regulatory and governance requirements within healthcare.
  • Strong report-writing, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify risks and areas for improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently with colleagues at all levels.
  • The ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently as well as part of a wider team.

We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and detail-focused, with a genuine commitment to quality and improving services.

You will be confident reviewing information, identifying areas where standards can be strengthened and communicating your findings clearly. Just as importantly, you will take a supportive and constructive approach, working alongside operational teams to turn findings into positive action.

You will be comfortable working across different services and engaging with colleagues at all levels, while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and a strong focus on regulatory compliance.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to play an important role in maintaining and improving the quality of care we provide. You will work alongside experienced operational and quality teams, helping to identify opportunities for learning, share best practice and support continuous improvement across our services.

If you are passionate about quality, compliance and improving outcomes for the people we support, we would love to hear from you.
