We are seeking a proactive and hands‐on HR Business Partner to support delivery across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role plays an important part in delivering a consistent HR service, supporting employee relations, and maintaining standards across HR operations, systems and compliance. You will work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR support and guidance in a fast‐paced environment. You will support day‐to‐day HR delivery while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring a high standard of service across your assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations & Operational Support
    • Handling employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations and performance management.
    • Ensure ER matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation.
    • Provide practical and commercially focused HR advice to managers.
    • Escalate complex or high‐risk cases to the HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Business Partnering & Manager Support
    • Build effective working relationships with managers across assigned regions.
    • Support managers in managing performance, attendance and employee matters.
    • Promote consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
    • Act as a key point of contact for day‐to‐day HR queries.
  • HR Operations, Systems & Data
    • Support delivery of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
    • Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date employee records within HR systems.
    • Support reporting and data accuracy across HR systems.
    • Contribute to improvements in HR processes and systems.
  • Audit, Compliance & Governance
    • Support HR compliance activity including audits (personnel files, contracts, right to work).
    • Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date and aligned to policy and legislation.
    • Maintain awareness of employment legislation across NI & ROI.
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement
    • Support delivery of People initiatives (retention, engagement, performance, wellbeing).
    • Support delivery of HR projects and process improvements.
    • Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and service delivery.
Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Essential
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification
Desirable
  • CIPD Level 7 or above
ExperienceEssential
  • Minimum 3 years' HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle
  • Strong Employee Relations experience, including casework
  • Working knowledge of employment law in Northern Ireland and/or Republic of Ireland
  • Experience supporting managers with HR advice and guidance
  • Experience using HR systems and supporting HR reporting
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
Desirable
  • Experience within health & social care or a regulated environment
  • Experience supporting multi‐site or regional operations
  • Experience supporting HR projects or process improvements
