We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team by ensuring accurate processing of transactions, maintaining financial records and other administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting tasks and data entry
- Process supplier invoices for approval, complete monthly creditor reconciliations, and prepare supplier payments
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate filing of financial documents
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role including completing bank reconciliations
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (training provided)
- Good organisational skills and time-management skills
