Job Description:
Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans to restore strength, mobility, and functional independence.
Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities under PT supervision.
Observe, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment.
Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and recovery plans for continued progress at home.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Associate’s Degree from an accredited
Physical Therapist Assistant program .
Active
Washington State PTA License
(or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
Current
BLS (Basic Life Support)
certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred (rehab, acute, or outpatient settings).
