Are you a Quality engineer with experience in Manufacturing or Engineering? This role could be the next step for you. Our client is a global manufacturing business with an extensive history and a reputation for quality in their field. Currently undergoing a change programme focused on elevating standards to the next level of operational excellence, this quality role will play a key role in that development.
This is a new role working within a Quality team that is vital in ensuring that changes in operation don’t negatively affect the quality of the product. More so, that the quality standards demanded by customers are exceeded. This is a well-rounded, customer-facing quality role. Their product is manufactured under customer-specific requirements, so ensuring the customer knows they are in good hands is vital.
Responsibilities- Maintain and improve the Quality Management systems
- Plan and conduct internal audits
- Support external and customer audits
- Drive effective Corrective Action plans
- Serve as internal advocate from customer quality standards
- Monitor customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, waste and product reliability
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards
- Experience in a Quality role with a Manufacturer
