Would you like to work on some of the most recognisable projects in the UK? One of our most valued clients is filling a vital part of their talent pipeline with the hire of a Senior Hydraulics Design Engineer. This role involves working closely with a Chief Engineer who has over 30 years of experience in the field. The goal is for this candidate to learn, develop and eventually take over as the Chief Design authority for all things hydraulics when the time comes.
You will be working on a pipeline of exciting projects, including work in Hong Kong, Middle East, US, Australia, as well as working with the MOD and Nuclear. It is key that the successful candidate has experience designing a variety of hydraulic units (HPU’s, Cylinders, Actuators/Gearbox) as projects will often require a combination. 3D modelling experience is also a must!
Experience:
- Design experience with HPU’s, Cylinders, Manifolds, Actuators, Valves
- Good knowledge of Fluid Power Circuits
- 3D modelling (any software)
Package:
- Salary: £55k (flexible for the right candidate)
