We are delighted to be supporting a growing engineering company in the search for a Project Manager to join its expanding team. Our client is responsible for delivering some of the most cutting-edge engineering solutions in the UK, with a strong and growing portfolio of projects across the defence, aerospace and nuclear sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of complex engineering programmes in a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.
Working as part of a wider project team, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams and key project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones and resource allocation to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Act as the key link between engineering, operations and project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Identify project risks and issues early, putting practical mitigation and resolution plans in place.
- Coordinate resources across functions to support successful project execution.
- Maintain quality, governance and compliance standards across all project deliverables.
- Monitor budgets and expenditure, providing accurate reporting and financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce clear project documentation and regular updates for senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive a solutions-focused approach to problem solving while embedding best practice across project delivery.
The successful candidate will bring proven project management experience within an engineering, manufacturing or other technically complex environment. You will be confident working with multidisciplinary teams, comfortable engaging a range of stakeholders, and capable of driving delivery in fast-paced, high-accountability settings.
