This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering environment where you will play a key role in improving operational performance and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support automation initiatives, deliver measurable process improvements, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse production schedules, workflows, layouts, and resource utilisation to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct time-and-motion studies, work measurement, and labour utilisation assessments.
- Recommend and implement changes to processes, layouts, or equipment to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automation and control systems used within industrial processes.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies where appropriate.
- Facilitate improvement workshops and training sessions to promote best practices across teams.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor operational performance.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and operational teams to deliver cost savings and performance improvements.
- Prepare reports, cost-benefit analyses, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
