Connected are working closely with a major Manufacturing partner on a brand-new position, a HSQE Manager, to drive culture across Health & Safety and Quality. This position will work with senior stakeholders to develop and implement SHEQ policy to drive excellence and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards. Above all, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and increase buy in from across the business. This is a strategic position, so a candidate with some experience leading a small team would be preferred, but not essential.
Key tasks
- Policy & compliance - Develop, maintain and delivery HSEQ policy and standards
- Risk Management - lead incident investigation and implementation of corrective action
- Audit & reporting - Plan and conduct robust audit and inspection plans
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to increase standards and implement best practice.
You will have
- Experience working in manufacturing
- Previously lead in Health & Safety and Quality (ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
- Ability to travel to a second site in Lancashire (once per week)
The ideal candidate will be confident, methodical, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of SHEQ systems within a manufacturing environment. You will have proven experience managing ISO systems and enjoy influencing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
