Facilities Maintenance Technician – Electrical

Cramlington

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the hard services team on site at a leading pharmaceutical business.

This isn’t a PLC or automation role – it’s about keeping the facilities and site infrastructure running smoothly. From lighting, fire alarms and BMS through to chilled water, steam boilers and compressed air systems, you’ll be part of the team that keeps a critical site safe, compliant and efficient.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance across site electrical systems
  • Supporting inspections, permits and safety compliance
  • Managing contractors and ensuring works meet site standards
  • Logging all work in line with GxP and regulatory requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Electrical apprenticeship (C&G / NVQ) with 18th Edition + testing/inspection
  • Experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance
  • Knowledge of safe systems of work, permits and RAMS
  • A proactive communicator who can juggle multiple tasks
