Are you a Process Engineer who enjoys challenging the status quo and driving real change on the shop floor? Connected Engineering is working with a superb manufacturing business that’s investing heavily in automation, capital projects, and continuous improvement, and they’re looking for someone to play a key role in that journey.
This isn’t a “keep things ticking” role. It’s an opportunity to get stuck into meaningful projects, influence how things are done, and develop quickly within a growing engineering team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving process improvements across a busy manufacturing site
- Supporting capital projects (equipment upgrades, automation, new tech)
- Analysing performance using OEE and production data
- Mapping and improving processes (value stream mapping, waste reduction)
- Working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Getting involved in automation, CNC, robotics and modern manufacturing tech
- Solving real problems on the shop floor and implementing practical solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (regulated preferred)
- Exposure to continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
- Strong analytical mindset, someone who asks “why?”
- Interest in automation, process optimisation, and engineering improvement
- Background in precision engineering or component manufacturing (ideal, not essential)
