Requirements
- Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM experience with real-world implementations
- Experience with Service Mapping and Discovery, including troubleshooting
- Strong CMDB skills, including relationships, CI classes, and dependency modelling
- Experience integrating data using APIs, transform maps, Integration Hub, and similar tools
- Cloud exposure or experience with modern infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Must be able to work in the UK without restriction; we cannot provide sponsorship
- Ability to work onsite in Cambridge 2 days per week under a hybrid working arrangement
Responsibilities
- Help implement and improve service-to-infrastructure dependency mapping
- Build and fix ServiceNow Service Mapping, including patterns, entry points, and mapping runs
- Get Discovery working properly, including MID servers, credentials, coverage, and tuning
- Improve service-to-infrastructure relationships so impact analysis works effectively
- Troubleshoot poor data, broken mappings, and unusual system behaviour
- Support integrations through APIs, Integration Hub, Service Graph, and import sets
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to validate what is happening in the environment
- Help make the CMDB useful, accurate, and trusted

We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow ITOM / Integration Specialist to join us on a large-scale CMDB uplift focused on fixing and improving existing service-to-infrastructure dependency mapping. This is a day-rate contract role via an Umbrella company with an initial 6-month term. The role follows a hybrid working model with 2 days onsite in Cambridge each week. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with incomplete data and using technical expertise to improve ServiceNow environments.
