Responsibilities:
- As a principal Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for hydropower and pumped storage hydro projects, including turbines, pumps, generators, and control systems.
- You’ll be a driving force in the project success by advising clients, troubleshooting, and mentoring the next generation of talented engineers.
Required skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience with hydro or pumped storage hydro systems.
- Experience of producing technical specifications, power and energy calculations, schedules, reports and design of solutions.
- Chartered or Incorporated status (IMechE is preferred).
- Ability to present technical ideas.
- Experience with 3D modelling and collaborative design.
Please note, hybrid working places are in place for this role, with occasional site visits.
