Are you an Electrical Engineering mastermind with a passion for hydropower? Do you thrive on designing cutting-edge hydro solutions and have a desire to work on some of the largest hydro projects? As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading the electrical engineering design of hydropower projects, including generators, control and instrumentation systems, protection, substations and transmission lines. You’ll be performing the design, model and analysis of electrical and electronic systems to ensure project success aligned to industry standards.
- Hands-on experience of working on High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with large rotating machines (generators or motors), hydro or pumped storage hydro systems.
- Experience of producing / interpreting design drawings and documents including single line diagrams, key line diagrams, block cable diagrams, load schedules, specifications and design of solutions.
Please note, hybrid working places are in place for this role, with occasional site visits.
