If messy ServiceNow CMDBs and broken service maps irritate you, keep reading. We’re looking for a hands-on ServiceNow ITOM / Integration Specialist to help implement and improve service-to-infrastructure dependency mapping, discovery configuration, and CMDB integration patterns. This is all about fixing what’s already there. Think incomplete service maps, patchy Discovery, and a CMDB that needs turning into something people can trust and use. If you’re the type of person who enjoys working with incomplete data, whilst applying your technical expertise to improve ServiceNow environments then we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and fix ServiceNow Service Mapping (patterns, entry points, mapping runs)
- Get Discovery working properly (MID servers, credentials, coverage, tuning)
- Improve service-to-infrastructure relationships so impact analysis actually works
- Troubleshoot poor data, broken mappings and odd behaviours
- Support integrations (APIs, Integration Hub, Service Graph, import sets)
- Work closely with infra, cloud and app teams to validate what’s actually happening
- In short: make the CMDB useful, accurate, and trusted.
What we’re looking for:
- Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM experience (real-world implementations)
- Experience with Service Mapping + Discovery (incl. troubleshooting)
- Strong CMDB skills - relationships, CI classes, dependency modelling
- Experience integrating data (APIs, transform maps, Integration Hub etc.)
- Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) / modern infra environments.
Working Policy:
- Hybrid working places are in place for this role, with 2 days onsite (Cambridge) required each week.
Finally:
- Applicants must also be able to work in the UK without restriction, unfortunately sponsorship cannot be provided. This is a day rate role via an Umbrella company - Initial 6 month contract.
If you're a ServiceNow Professional with hands-on ServiceNow CMDB / CDSM experience then we would love to hear from you.
