Connect Driver Solutions are seeking a Driver Supervisor to work out of our client's Glasgow-based distribution centre on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (averaging 48 hours per week)
Salary: £32,868 per annum (OTE around £35,000 per annum)
Working as a Driver Supervisor:
- Delivering inductions and training for new staff
- Providing cover for the driving team when necessary
- Ensuring the vehicle fleet is compliant with daily obligations
- Various management and administrative duties
- Looking for ways to improve the efficiency of the fleet
The successful Driver Supervisor will have previous experience in a similar supervisory role, as well as:
- A full CAT C/Class 2 licence
- Valid Digital Tacho and CPC card
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A valid forklift licence (preferred, but not essential)
