Connect Driver Solutions, one of the most trusted driving and transport recruiters in the North East, are looking for Class 2 Drivers!
Location: County Durham
Pay Rates: £30,000 to £31,000 per annum
Start times from 2:30am to 6am - working between 7.5 hours and 9 hours per day.
The successful candidate will work every 3 out of 5 Saturdays which attract a premium rate when full-time.
What We’re Looking For:
- Class 2 Drivers for multi drop/trunking work in the North of England; delivering milk and cream to hospitals, shops, wholesalers in milk trollies, using tail lift.
Your Responsibilities as a Class 2 Driver:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Manual handling upon delivery
- Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
What You Need as a Class 2 Driver:
- Valid CAT C licence/LGV 2/HGV 2 licence
- Minimum of 1 year's experience with Class 2 vehicles
- Valid DQC and digital tacho cards
- No more than six points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
