The Commercial Manager oversees financial governance, contract management, supplier performance, and supports delivery teams to ensure commercial obligations are met across all Wireless programmes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain commercial frameworks and processes that support Wireless project delivery.
- Provide commercial insights, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to support business planning.
- Ensure commercial activities align with organisational objectives and client requirements.
- Oversee commercial reporting, cost control, revenue assurance, and forecasting for Wireless projects.
- Support the development and improvement of commercial reporting tools and financial platforms.
- Track commercial performance including billing, variations, and financial accuracy.
- Prepare commercial dashboards and summaries for leadership and client stakeholders.
- Assist with pricing, tender submissions, and commercial evaluations for new opportunities.
- Align with Finance and Delivery teams to ensure accurate project budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain strong commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in telecoms commercial management, ideally within Wireless.
- Strong administrative skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and project management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with purchase order systems and project finance processes.
- Strong MS Excel and reporting tool capability.
- Proven experience in MBNL or 3UK and EE.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance, Telecoms, or related field preferred.
- Professional commercial or financial certifications beneficial.
