We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Waste Driver to join our diverse and inclusive team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the transportation and disposal of waste materials in accordance with all local regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities
Operate waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
Collect and transport waste materials to designated disposal or recycling facilities.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of routes, waste loads, and vehicle inspections.
Promote environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in waste collection or a related field.
Ability to operate waste disposal vehicles and equipment safely.
Strong commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
Good physical stamina and ability to handle waste materials as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends if required.
Day-to-Day
Start the day with vehicle inspection and route briefing.
Drive assigned routes to collect waste from residential, commercial, or industrial locations.
Adhere to safety standards while loading and unloading waste.
Document and report any issues or incidents promptly.
Coordinate with dispatch and team members to optimise route efficiency.
End the day with vehicle cleaning and completion of required documentation.
