Responsibilities- Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, respecting their individual needs and preferences.
- Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate care records in accordance with enhanced care standards.
- Promote a safe and clean environment by following health and safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Encourage social interaction and engagement through activities and meaningful conversation.
- Report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the nursing team promptly.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to maintain enhanced care skills.
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant preferred.
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to upholding the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work shifts as required.
