Social Workers required in Hampshire - different locations available!

Responsibilities include:

  • Having a mixed caseload of families spanning early help and children in need.
  • Co-working with families alongside our Family Practitioner.
  • Working within a smaller defined location/geographical area.
  • Building links with partners/organisations within local communities.
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues and substitute care.
  • Assessing risks, protection & social care needs of individuals, carers, and families.
  • Undertaking joint assessments to ensure all risks are considered.
  • Taking appropriate action in conjunction with other agencies & within legal & statutory framework, to protect vulnerable people.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reassessing care packages/services against identified risks.

Requirements as a Social Worker include:

  • SWE Registration.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Drive and have access to a car.
  • Post-qualified experience.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
