About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting and supervising approved foster carers, ensuring children are placed in safe, stable and nurturing environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers in line with regulations and standards
- Managing duty responsibilities and working closely with the Placements Team
- Undertaking direct work with children, young people and families
- Supporting a range of specialist schemes including: Mockingbird, Constellation, Supported Lodgings, Family Link and Resilience carers
- Completing visits, interventions and reviews to ensure positive outcomes
Requirements as a Social Worker include:
- SWE Registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Drive and have access to a car
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
