Connect2Socialwork are looking for a social work consultant to join Durham's children's services!

We are looking for a social work consultant (which is equivalent in Durham to an assistant team manager role) who can work across our 5 social work teams in the south. There will be a particular focus on the teams' links with our Early Help service and providing support and consultation on cases as we look at new ways of working and move towards the new Family Help model in line with the social work reforms.

Requirements as a Social Worker include:

  • SWE Registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Drive and have access to a car
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
