Children in Care (CIC) Social Worker - Hampshire

Location: Hampshire

Contract: 3 months rolling contract

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £42ph

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and young people who are in long-term care
  • Develop, review and implement care plans
  • Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and reports
  • Work closely with carers, families, and multi-agency partners
  • Ensure children and young people receive the stability, safety, and opportunities they deserve

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
  • Previous CIC/LAC experience
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, child-centred environment
  • SWE Registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Drive and have access to a car
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
