Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Personal Assistant on behalf of Luton Borough Council. Provide effective secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Management team and undertake specific support tasks as required. Collect, analyse and interpret statistical and other management information, manipulating and presenting data in a comprehensible format. Receive and filter incoming telephone calls for the from a wide range of sources including senior management, elected Members, VIPs, other statutory agencies and the general public. ·Liaise with Members, Officers and external organisations to ensure that all appropriate arrangements are made for meetings, seminars and conferences, organising travel and accommodation as necessary. · Under direction of the Business Improvement Manager - Business Support, provide administrative and organisational support to ad-hoc and on-going projects and other defined tasks. NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience Able to travel around the borough to attend meetings or events Luton Borough Council have partnered with Kent County Council to create Connect2Luton, a recruitment managed service for all contingent temporary agency, contract, and interim roles at the Council.
