Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a HGV Class 2 driver on behalf of Luton Borough Council to work within their Refuse department. As Class 2 driver you will be responsible for driving the Refuse Trucks around Luton with your team. You will be familiar with multi drops as you will be driving the Loaders on the rounds. You may need to be available for an immediate start.
About the Role:
- Initially Tuesday to Friday / Possible days per week
- £16.71 per hour
- 6am - 3.45pm
- 37 Hours guaranteed pay per week
- Able to earn time and half during busier times
- Double time for bank holidays
- Driving Refuse truck within the Borough of Luton for commercial and residential waste
- Will be coming out of the truck to help collect the bins and load them onto the truck
About you:
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Ideally clean driving licence
- Good time keeping skills
- 12 months minimum experience of class 2 driving required
- Pair of safety boots
